Fu-Hsien(Kevin)Yang joined Innovatus Law in 2025.
Kevin holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Financial and Economic Law from National Chengchi University, where his primary areas of research focused on Company Act and Securities and Exchange Act. He served as a research assistant for a Ministry of Science and Technology–funded legal research project and as a teaching assistant for commercial law courses, demonstrating strong capabilities in legal research and academic writing. His master’s thesis, titled “The Binding Effect of Unanimous Shareholder Consent: Comparative Study of the Duomatic Principle in the UK and Shareholder Agreements in the US”, explores the validity of informal unanimous shareholder consents across different jurisdictions and examines their applicability to Taiwan’s legal framework, aiming to reduce corporate governance costs for SMEs of Taiwan and enhance their operational flexibility.
Prior to joining Innovatus Law, Kevin interned at Chen and Chang attorneys-at-law, where he gained on-hands experience in alternative dispute resolution. He participated in proceedings regarding recognition of an ICDR arbitral award awarding more than twenty million dollars (USD) and an administrative lawsuit related to the Environmental Impact Assessment Act initiated by 18 companies. Kevin is experienced in the procedural of arbitration case management and has substantial experience in reviewing and translating English-language agreements. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
Kevin is currently a member of the Taipei Bar Association. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, English, and Taiwanese, and is also proficient in Japanese, having passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1.
